Moovin festival is nestled in the picturesque countryside, only 15 minutes from Stockport and 30 minutes from Manchester City Centre in the usually quite village of Compstall.
If you are coming by car use SK6 5HZ, this will take you to the Post office in Compstall and the site is signposted from there.
There are three available carparks.
The best one for campers is 5 minutes from the entrance of Etherow Country Park and it costs £10 for the weekend.
For day ticket holders there is a carpark right at the entrance of Etherow Country Park. If you do end up leaving your car there you will need to renew your ticket at 9am though….!
The Farm is an eco farm and only limited vehicles are allowed onsite, however shuttle buses to the site are available from both of these car parks for a small fee, or if you are feeling fit, the 15 minute walk to the site is beautiful.
There is also a free car park facing Marple Train Station further up the Road, Sat Nav SK6 7DA. The shutttle bus will not be running from here, however you can walk, get bus 383 or 384 or call 0161 427 0777 VIP Taxis to take you to the entrance of the park, where you can then get the shuttle bus or walk to the site itself.
If you are coming by Public Transport the nearest train stations are Marple, Romiley and Stockport train station is also nearby with buses every 15 minutes. You can get public buses 383 and 384 to Compstall from any of these stations and then either take the shuttle bus to the site for a small fee or make the beautiful 15 minute walk which will be signposted.
