HANNAH O’GORMAN

Hannah O’Gorman finds her musical roots scattered far and wide. From an up bringing filled with psych, folk, and experimental electronics on one side and samba and bossa nova on the other, this DJ has become an expert in drawing common threads between seemingly disparate sounds. Rapidly becoming a mainstay in the Manchester music scene, Hannah’s eclectic approach to selecting has landed her support slots for the likes of Gilles Peterson, Hagan and Pongo.

Hannah is also co-founder of the Manchester based independent station, STEAM Radio and one half of DJ collective and event series Nossa!. Nossa! is all about pushing friendly dance floors filled with Afro-Latin rhythms, percussive bass, left-field disco and global psych and is the perfect vehicle for Hannah to explore her Brazilian heritage. The brand has thrown all kinds of shin digs, from mini-Brazilian carnivals to thumping baile funk nights, and last year made appearances at We Out Here and Manchester International Festival.
